Reservations are being taken for Marion County Senior Citizens’ annual meeting at the center where 15 instrumental musicians will be honored and two speakers will give presentations Oct. 20. A by-reservation-only meal will be served.
Senior Center Day was Sept. 21. Sue Clough conducted a business meeting during which she was elected president, Pam Varenhorst, vice president; Rhonda Brenzikofer, secretary; and Norma Kline, treasurer.
Jenny Lee of Fam Lee Bakery also gave a presentation about her new Marion business.
Val Morgan brought birthday treats Sept. 15, and Harlow Warneke grilled hamburgers for lunch Sept. 16.
Marion County Lake Superintendent Steve Hudson will give a program Oct. 5.
