Myron Harris

Funeral services for Myron P. Harris, 78, will be at 10 a.m. today at Peabody Christian Church.

Interment will be in Prairie Lawn Cemetery, Peabody.

Myron P. Harris, 78, died Sept. 29 at his home in Peabody.

He was born Nov. 8, 1939, in Newton, to Kermit and Thelma Mellott Harris.

Myron married Barbara M. “Bobbie” Mott Laramore Oct. 10, 1982. He was a farmer and welder.

He is survived by daughters Sherri Landis of Lehigh, Jeanelle Coates of Walton, Susan Webb of Peabody, and Brenda Bartel of Hillsboro; son, Scott Harris of Peabody; stepdaughter, Beth Sprague of Peabody; stepson, Brad Laramore of Kansas City, Missouri; 29 grandchildren, 51 great-grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren.

Myron was preceded in death by his parents; wife Bobbie; brother Dale; two stepchildren Brenda Cunningham and Bruce Laramore; and two step-grandchildren.

Memorials are to Peabody Christian Church.
