Mystery wildflower identified

Jerry Higgins and Lynne Watts brought in a wildflower from the county lake. It was identified by Shirley Bowers as a gay feather.
Irene Richmond celebrated her 97th birthday on Sept. 9.
The center is looking for people who like to play pitch and will join a group to play at the center.
Merle Ecklund played his accordion for center patrons Sept. 11.
Grace Yoder will tell about her trip to Ukraine on Sept. 25.

Sept. 25 — Smothered pork chops, boiled potatoes, beets, fruit, whole wheat rolls.
Sept. 26 — Beef stew, spinach salad, fruit, corn bread.
