Neo-century club meets

Thirteen members answered roll call by putting $1 in a bag and sharing who their favorite movie stars are at a Neo-Century club meeting Jan. 9 at Hilltop Manor.

A slate of next year’s officers were presented with Shirley Carlson as president, Joyce Duke as vice president, LaVaughn Klose as secretary, and Elaine Morse as treasurer.

Joyce Duke gave devotions, and thank you notes were read from the Fred Helmer family and Dept. of Veterans Affair for a donation of $20.

A beginning balance of $225.81 plus $16 from roll call was reported by treasurer Elaine Morse. Expenses of $35.82 to Aunt Bea’s left the balance at $195.97.

Members played a game of Spinners. Hostesses were Lenora Dieter, Marge Christensen, and Earline Magathan.
