Norman Winter

Services for Norman W. Winter, 72, who died March 21 at his home near Hillsboro, were Saturday. Interment was at Durham Park Cemetery. Jost Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Born Nov. 6, 1950, in Hillsboro to Carl and Norma (Wangerin) Winter, he married Gloria Modeland on Aug. 18, 1973, in Alva, Oklahoma.

Survivors include wife Gloria Winter of Hillsboro; son Scott Winter of Hillsboro; daughter Kim Kysar of Edmond, Oklahoma; and six grandchildren.

Brother Warren Winter preceded him in death 2007.

A memorial has been established with the Hillsboro school district’s education fund.
