Nova Louise Bruner, 75, of Marion died Nov. 27. She was born Oct. 29, 1937, in Marion to Floyd and Velma Bogart Bredemeier.

She attended Marion schools and was a Marion High School graduate with the class of 1955. She married Merle Bruner on Feb. 12, 1956.

She ran a jewelry store, managed the C-mart, and worked for the post office in Marion. She attended Our Savior Lutheran Church, was a church officer, and was a member of the Dorcas Society.

She was preceded in death by an infant brother and a stepbrother, Norman Bredemeier.

She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Merle; two daughters, Cathy Cleeton of Marion and Cristi Soyez of Cedar Point; two sisters, Beverly Jirak of Marion and Roberta Warren of Carrollton, Mo.; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
