Novak reprises voting complaint

Outgoing county commissioner Dianne Novak once again complained during Monday’s county commission meeting about suspicious counting of ballots by those tabulating Marion County election results.

Speaking during commissioner’s comments at the end of the meeting, Novak complained that a poll watcher was not allowed to observe the vote counting in the room.

County clerk Tina Spencer said the clerk’s office had been notified he would be there and prepared a seat for him, but he did not sit there.

Novak said access was denied during prior vote counting as well, and said that after hearing about election fraud in other polling places, she can see how election fraud gets started here.
