According to offense reports released Monday:

SHERIFF

Criminal trespass and burglary

Justin Whitman, 33, told deputies someone broke into JW Storage, 1701 220th Rd., between 1 p.m. July 11 and 5 p.m. July 12 and damaged five travel trailers owned by Phillip Challans and Steven Claassen of Wichita, Bobby Hiebert of Hillsboro, Gary Mackey of Rose Hill, and Ronald Milleson of McPherson.

Deputy Mike Ottensmeier estimated total damage at $6,000.

hillsboro POLICE

Theft

Charges are pending against a 16-year-old Hillsboro boy who allegedly entered a garage in the 300 block of Birch St. between July 1 and 15 and took tools, video game systems, video games, and accessories valued at $3,025.

Criminal trespass

A 16-year-old Hillsboro boy allegedly entered a church at 8:30 p.m. Sunday after being asked not to do so. Charges are pending.
