Violation of protection order

Charges are pending against a 33-year old Hillsboro man for using a third party to contact a woman between 5 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. Oct. 8, who was under a protection order. The protection order stated that the man was only supposed to communicate with her through the mail.

Assault

Charges are pending against a 34-year old El Dorado woman who fled the scene of a report of assault prior to police arrival between 6:15 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. Oct 6. The victim said that she was in fear of harm from an object the suspect threw at her during an argument.

Dirksen Construction, 300 W. Main St., Goessel, reported trespassing and the theft of a trailer and miscellaneous tools valued at a combined $4,190 between 4 p.m. Oct. 2 and 9 a.m. Oct. 3.
