Burglary

Charles Ayers, 59, Hillsboro, reported $1,000 worth of tools stolen from a temporary structure between 8:00 and 8:22 a.m. Aug. 15. Police reported signs of forced entry were present.

Marion

Criminal damage to property

A person damaged an apartment door, valued at $200, at 8 a.m. July 23 in the 1500 block of Lawrence St. at Hilltop Manor.
