SHERIFF’S
Driving under the influence
Sergeant Larry Starkey charged an individual for allegedly driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol between 12:30 a.m. and 1 a.m. Sept. 19 on US-50. Suspicion of drug and alcohol use were noted in the report.
Protection order violation
An individual allegedly violated a protection order placed by Desirae Williams, 26, Florence in the 400 block of W. 7th St., Florence, between 5:40 p.m. and 6:24 p.m. Sept. 29. Matt Williams, 31, Florence, reported the incident.
Reckless driving
Reckless driving and aggravated endangerment of a child was reported by Mickey Brubaker, 19, Lincolnville, near Lincolnville between 4:16 and 6 p.m. Sept. 26 on US-56/77.
Consumption by a minor
An individual was charged for purchase of alcoholic liquor consumed by a minor that happened between 3:55 p.m. and 5:05 p.m. Sept. 27 in the 2500 block of 190th Rd., Marion.
Burglary
Philip Zeller, Herington, reported that between 5 p.m. Sept. 28 and 4:33 p.m. Sept. 29, three chainsaws and a drill press, totaling $1,200 was stolen from a rental facility/warehouse located on US-56 near Herington. Signs of forced entry were reported, including damage to a door.
