These offense reports were released this past week by law enforcement agencies. No information was released the previous week by Marion County sheriff’s office because of staff time off.
SHERIFF
Burglary
Randall Preheim, 52, Peabody, reported that a welder, pressure washer, and hand tools with a combined value of $400 were taken from an abandoned residential structure on Sunflower Rd. between 30th and 40th Rds. between 3 p.m. Jan. 6 and noon Jan. 7. Deputy Bronson Shipman indicated that force was used to gain entry to the building.
Identity theft
Vickie Kaempfe, 70, Marion, reported identity theft occurring between 10 and 10:30 a.m. Jan. 5. Deputy D.M. Harper-Head’s report did not detail the nature of the incident, but placed the value of a miscellaneous item at $1.
hillsboro
Theft of motor fuel
Michael Arsola, 60, Hillsboro, reported that a vehicle drove off from Casey’s General Store without paying for $40 of gas at 1:12 a.m. Saturday.

Theft
Theodore Turk, 25, Marion, reported theft of a floor jack valued at $100 from his residence in the 200 block of N. Roosevelt St.
