These offense reports were released this past week by law enforcement agencies:

SHERIFF

Burglary and theft

Two fishing poles, an electric saw, a laser level, and food together valued at $1,950 were reported stolen between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m. May 16 by a burglar who forced his or her way into William R. Shearer’s residence in the 200 block of W. 6th St., Florence.

Theft

A deer head sign valued at $50 was reported stolen between 4 p.m. May 29 and 7 a.m. May 30 from Kimberly S. Noon’s farm near 130th and Eagle Rds.

Criminal damage to property

A boat dock valued at $3,500 was reported damaged between 11:32 and 11:35 a.m. June 1 at Carol M. Miesse’s residence on Lakeshore Dr at Marion County Park and Lake. Lake superintendent Isaac Hett reportedly witnessed the damage.

Hillsboro

Possession of methamphetamine

A syringe, 0.2 of a gram of methamphetamine, and a pipe were found at 11:09 a.m. Saturday in a vehicle stopped in connection with an unrelated investigation with which the motorist might not even have been involved in the 300 block of N. Ash St.

Brandon W. Hammond, 33, Wichita, was arrested on suspicion of possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia, driving with a revoked license, having no registration and no insurance, and transferring certificates of titles unlawfully.

Peabody

Criminal damage to property

A storage building at Peabody City Park sustained $150 damage between June 3 and June 4.

Criminal damage to property

A window at Peabody City Park sustained $175 in damage April 29.

Theft

A DeWalt table saw worth $400 and a MIG welder worth $300 were reported stolen between 10:30 a.m. and 11 p.m. April 7 from Daniel Naillieux’s residence in the 300 block of N. Locust St. A report listed no signs of forced entry.

Theft

A case of soda worth $72, $100 in bills, and $60 in coins were reported stolen between 11 and 11:30 p.m. March 30 from Peabody Market. The theft was not reported until April 16. No signs of forced entry were reported.
