SHERIFF

Criminal damage to property

Rocks were thrown through nine window panes of a storage building at G&R Implement, 823 Abilene St., Durham, between 4 p.m. Oct. 2 and 4 p.m. Oct. 6. Damage was estimated at $500.

Theft

A Stealth Cam scouting camera and two deer stands together valued at $180 were reported stolen between 6 a.m. Oct. 3 and 5:55 p.m. Oct. 5. Owner Jordan L. Trapp, Marion, had left the items on land near 140th and Pawnee Rds.

Disorderly conduct

A Newton man was arrested at 2 a.m. Oct. 5 after police observed him when he appeared to be under the influence in the 100 block of S. Freeborn St. Police responded to the scene for reports of someone lying unconscious behind a garbage can. Denim M. Wasiel, 34, was arrested on suspicion of disorderly conduct.

Domestic battery

A Marion man was arrested at 11:57 p.m. Oct. 7 at Country Inn Motel after a report was made of a 43-year-old woman with an injury lying on the ground. After an investigation, Richard T. Litton, 35, was arrested on suspicion of domestic battery and interfering with law enforcement.
