SHERIFF

Burglary

Donald R. Hett reported his home at 2023 140th Rd. had been burglarized between 6 p.m. Nov. 7 and 7:45 a.m. Nov. 12. Stolen were a weed eater, microwave, moving dolly, antique sewing machine, shop vac, and barrel fan. The value of the loss is estimated at $430.

Theft

April M. McSwan, Lehigh, reported Nov. 12 theft of a Ford F-150 between 8 a.m. Nov. 9 and 11 a.m. Nov. 12 from 109 N. Prospect Ave., Lehigh. The value of the truck is estimated at $10,000.

Possession of a controlled substance

A motorist and his passenger were arrested after drugs were found during a traffic stop Nov. 8 in the 200 block of S. Main St.

Christopher J. Bennett, 38, Salina, was arrested on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance, depressants, and marijuana, according to arrest records. Katie R. Hill, Hillsboro, was arrested on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance and depressants, according to arrest records.

Driving with a suspended license

A Marion man was arrested Thursday after a traffic stop for failing to yield in the 300 block of N. Ash St. Michael J. Loomis, 27, was arrested on suspicion of driving with a suspended license according to arrest records.

Assault with a deadly weapon

A Hillsboro man was arrested after his victim reported being assaulted and threatened Friday in the 100 block of N. Lincoln St. Austin T. Kurtz, 22, was arrested on suspicion of criminal threat and assault with a deadly weapon, according to arrest records.

Peabody

Pedestrian under the influence

Hope Reynolds, 35, Peabody, reported Sept. 15 that a man was acting disorderly at her residence in the 300 block of N. Walnut St. Dustin W. Glenn, 35, Peabody, was arrested on suspicion of being a pedestrian under the influence of drugs or alcohol. An offense report from Peabody Police Department was released this week.

Theft

Tonni Delvecchio, 57, Peabody, reported Sept. 23 that someone had stolen an oxygen bottle worth $400 and a bottle cart worth $100 from his residence in the 100 block of W. 6th St. An offense report from Peabody Police Department was released this week.
