Burglary
A Polaris Sportsman valued at $5,000 and a Polaris Ranger valued at $200 were stolen between 5 p.m. May 10 and 1 p.m. May 11 from Kevin Robinson, Florence. The Polaris Ranger was recovered.
HILLSBORO
Criminal threat, disorderly conduct, interference with law enforcement
Tanner L. Jasper, 21, Hillsboro, was arrested after he allegedly threatened a 57-year-old female acquaintance at 5:19 p.m. Saturday in the 400 block of S. Main St.
According to officer Randy Brazil’s report, Jasper was suspected of being under the influence of drugs at the time.
He was arrested on suspicion of issuing a criminal threat that caused terror, evacuation, or disruption; disorderly conduct by using fighting words or noisy conduct; and interfering with a law enforcement officer by obstructing, resisting, or opposing arrest.
Marijuana and drug possession
Sebastian Carranza, 19, Florence, was arrested on suspicion of possessing marijuana, drug paraphernalia, and a controlled substance after three grams of methamphetamine, two grams of marijuana, six pieces of drug paraphernalia, and a safe were reported seized at 7:48 p.m. May 12 at a rental home in the 300 block of N. Ash St.
Carranza was released from Marion County Jail 12 hours later on his own recognizance.
