These offense reports were released this past week by law enforcement agencies:

SHERIFF

Burglary and theft

A 2018 Chevrolet Equinox valued at $20,000 was reported stolen between 7:30 p.m. July 14 and 7:15 a.m. July 15 by a thief who broke into a temporary structure on Diamond Rd. north of 190th Rd.

Deputy Aaron Christner’s report lists the name of a witness to the crime. Owners are identified as Alan L. and Jessica K. Boese, who live nearby in rural Lehigh.

MARION

Domestic battery

Ricky D. Leshure, 36, Marion, was arrested on suspicion of domestic battery after a disturbance at 8:33 p.m. Saturday.

An offense reports states that the incident occurred in the 300 block of S. Lincoln St. and involved a person identified as Leshure’s girlfriend. Unofficial police activity logs indicate, however, that police were called to the 1200 block of E. Main St.

PEABODY

Criminal damage

A vandal caused an estimated $2,500 damage between 7:50 a.m. and 12:50 p.m. July 11 to a brick handrail at Peabody United Methodist Church, 403 N. Sycamore St.

Burglary

Cynthia Wrench reported that her home in the 200 block of N. Maple St. was burglarized at an unspecified time July 14. Police reported no signs of forced entry, and no items were listed as stolen.
