SHERIFF

Criminal damage

Sharleen F. Francis, Goessel, reported the next afternoon that someone had done $300 damage between 12:30 and 12:35 a.m. July 26 to siding on her home in the 200 block of W. Main St.

HILLSBORO

Identify fraud

The birth date, address, and Social Security and driver’s license numbers of Jason G. Miller, 35, Hillsboro, were used in November to open multiple fraudulent utility accounts in Texas.

Few details of the theft, which was reported July 26, were provided. However, officer John Huebert’s report indicates that the thief may have been using drugs and that necessary documents may have been stolen from a street in front of the victim’s residence in the 900 block of S. Ash St.

PEABODY

Burglary

Cynthia Wrench reported that her home or garage in the 200 block of N. Maple St. was illegally entered at an unspecified time July 14.

No items were listed as stolen, and police reported finding no sign of forced entry.

Junked vehicle

Police reported July 17 that a vehicle in the 300 block of N. Pine St. violated city ordinance against storage of inoperable vehicles on private property.
