Theft
A generator valued at $1,000 and cords valued at $300 were stolen between 5 p.m. Sept. 30 and 11:30 p.m. Oct. 4 from Brock Baker, 549 Newell Rd.
marion
Officer Aaron Slater and sheriff’s deputy Matt Regier checked on a suspicious person who got out of a vehicle at 2:20 a.m. Friday, leaving it near the intersection of Welch and 3rd Sts. While investigating, they found a methamphetamine pipe in plain view on the passenger seat.
Justin Loomis, 28, Marion, was arrested on suspicion of driving with a suspended license and possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.
