HILLSBORO
Burglary
Household items valued at $2,720 were reported stolen between Oct. 27 and Nov. 27 by a burglar who broke into a storage locker at Fleming’s Mini Stor-All, 405 Orchard Dr.
The items’ owner, Leland W. Arnold, 73, of Hillsboro told police 400 videotapes, 25 vinyl records, 20 dishes, 15 items of men’s clothing, two barrels, a component stereo system, a DVD player, a videotape recorder, and a turntable were stolen.
PEABODY
Theft by deception
Two packages of batteries, an unspecified small appliance, and a package of gum, together valued at $16, were reported stolen at an unspecified time Nov. 13 from Family Dollar, 309 E. 9th St.
Burglary, criminal damage
A $250 ladder and a $249 Cuisinart cookware set were stolen between noon Wednesday and noon Sunday by a burglar who caused $250 damage to a garage door and $500 damage to a Ford F-150 pickup at a garage in the 700 block of N. Locust St.
Owner Timothy L. Litton of Peabody listed the total value of all items stolen or damaged at $1,595.
