These offense reports were released this past week by law enforcement agencies:

HILLBORO

Aggravated assault of a law officer, domestic battery, criminal damage, battery

An intoxicated man waving a pistol in traffic at 6:24 p.m. Sunday in the 400 block of S. Ash St. was arrested after being subdued with an electroshock weapon.

The incident began with an argument involving the suspect’s 27-year-old girlfriend at a residence in the 700 block of S. Lincoln St.

In addition to allegedly threatening a police officer with a deadly weapon, Zachary M. Burwell, 24, Salina, is accused of having knowingly rude physical contact with the girlfriend, of having rude, insulting, or angry contact with a 17-year-old female acquaintance, and of causing an estimated $200 damage to a vehicle owned by Team Marketing Alliance of Moundridge.

After being checked by Hillsboro ambulance, Burwell was taken to Hillsboro Community Hospital and then transferred the next day to county jail.
