These offense reports were released this past week by law enforcement agencies:



A $282 check was reported stolen between midnight and 12:20 p.m. Nov. 15 from an abandoned structure at Gard Cemetery.

The cemetery is listed on the report as being at 1579 Mustang Rd., which appraisal records indicate is owned by Jerry E. and Lisa N. Winkley Revocable Trust. The cemetery’s address as 1503 Limestone Rd.

Deputy Derek Fetrow’s report, dated Nov. 15 but released Friday, states that the theft was reported by Eugene D. Just, who resides about five miles away in Aulne.

Burglary, criminal damage

Cory L. Janzen of Newton reported that a chain saw valued at $200 and a key to a side-by-side all-terrain vehicle, both belonging to Karen Nikkel, who resides nearby, were stolen between 3 p.m. April 20 and 3 p.m. May 21 by a burglar who caused $100 damage to a window of an abandoned structure near 180th Rd. and K-15.


Angela D. Dilks reported May 25 that she was battered by an acquaintance between 9:45 a.m. and 10:37 a.m. Jan. 28 at her residence in the 100 block of S. Washington St. in Burns.


Domestic battery

Christina M. Everling, 57, Peabody, twice reported that she was the victim of domestic battery by a roommate — once on May 13 (which she reported May 16) at a residence in the 200 block of E. Division St. and again at 5:40 p.m. May 15 at a residence, which does not appear on county property records, in the 700 block of W. 8th St.
