These offense reports were released this past week by law enforcement agencies:

HILLSBORO

Theft

A string trimmer and leaf blower, together valued at $240, were reported stolen between 1 p.m. June 14 and 1 p.m. June 28 from an unlocked shed in the back yard of Robert Jantz’s residents in the 100 block of S. Floral St.

Multiple driving infractions

Eric Petit, 39, Galva, was arrested at 10:35 a.m. Thursday near US-56 and Indigo Rd. on suspicion of driving while his license was suspended and with expired registration, displaying registration not assigned, and failing to provide proof of liability insurance.

He was released from jail two hours later after posting a $2,000 surety bond.
