These offense reports were released this past week by law enforcement agencies:
Aggravated domestic battery
Travis R. Grosse, 46, allegedly choked girlfriend Lea L. Jost, during an argument between noon and 2 p.m. Aug. 6 at a farm home near 150th and Pawnee Rds.
He was not arrested at the time but formally was charged Aug. 8 with aggravated domestic battery then was arrested Aug. 27. Fifteen minutes after his arrest, he was released on a $10,000 surety bond.
A tool bag and tools valued at $75 were reported stolen between 1 p.m. Aug. 20 and 11:30 a.m. Aug. 21 from Josiah J. Wheatley’s residence in the 100 block of W. 3rd St. in Florence. A BMX bicycle also was reported as stolen but was located later in the day.
Drunken driving, marijuana-related charges
Nine containers labeled for the psychoactive ingredient in marijuana, eight bags labeled as containing THC vaping cartridges, two pipes containing trace amounts of vegetation, and miscellaneous vaping items were listed as seized during a drunken-driving arrest at 4:50 a.m. Aug. 21 at US-50 and Nighthawk Rd.
According to monitored transmissions, deputy Joel Womochil stopped a 1993 GMC Sonoma, arrested driver Jacob B. Stuckey, 18, Halstead, and spotted the items in the vehicle, which was owned by another Halstead resident.
Stuckey was jailed on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs and possession of marijuana, THC, and drug paraphernalia.
He was released Aug. 22 on a personal recognizance promise to pay $5,000 should he fail to return for a court date.
An officer took a report of criminal damage to a car window in the 200 block of N. Main St.
