HILLSBORO

Theft

Tabor College reported that a $300 cart containing $200 in tennis balls was stolen between 6 p.m. Sept. 29 and 9 a.m. Oct. 3 from the southwest corner of tennis courts at Hillsboro Sports Complex.

Marion

Violation of protection order

Sarah V. Smith, 44, reported that, in violation of a Harvey County protection order, she received text messages Oct. 5 in the 100 block of Jefferson St. from a former boyfriend. Dustin J. Luchi, 43, Marion, later was arrested.
