These offense reports were released this past week by law enforcement agencies:

SHERIFF

Burglary

Three duck decoys were reported stolen at 10:35 p.m. Oct. 8 from a shed at James R. O’Neal’s residence in the 100 block of W. 5th St. in Florence.

The decoys, together valued at $90, were owned by neighbor Kirshawn A. Stevens.

According to monitored transmissions, O’Neal saw a person wearing dark clothing inside his shed. The intruder ran west when O’Neal went outside.

O’Neal telephoned dispatchers while armed and standing on his porch. Dispatchers told him to go inside and put his gun away.

Deputy Landis Goodman found no signs of forced entry. He and deputy Joshua Meliza searched the area until being called away to an incident in Lehigh.

MARION

Theft

A tank filled with 30 pounds of propane and valued at $100 was reported stolen between 1 p.m. Oct. 9 and 1 p.m. Sunday from the VFW campground at 420 W. Santa Fe St.

Hope Collins, 35, of Hackery Valley, West Virginia, reported the theft.
