These offense reports were released this past week by law enforcement agencies:

SHERIFF

Criminal threat, possession of marijuana

Alcohol and drug use are suspected of having contributed to L. Eugene and Traci K. Lanning of rural Marion being threatened, allegedly by her brother, at 2:35 p.m. July 29 at Dollar General, 605 Orchard Dr., Hillsboro.

Michael J. Darrow, 38, Marion, was arrested on suspicion of making a criminal threat and, after 0.5 of a gram of Emerald Fields 20.5% THC marijuana allegedly was discovered on him, on suspicion of marijuana possession.

He was released from jail 22 hours later after posting a $15,000 bond.

HILLSBORO

Criminal damage

Six lights were damaged and pink graffiti was spray-painted on walls between 4 p.m. July 28 and 8:45 a.m. Aug. 2 at the west shelter house in Memorial Park. Damage was estimated at $300.
