These offense reports were released this past week by law enforcement agencies:

HILLSBORO

Burglary

Two pictures and a dozen pieces of sterling silver and gold jewelry, including two bracelets, eight rings, and two necklaces, together valued at $2,500, were reported stolen between 6 p.m. Oct. 3 and 9 p.m. Thursday from an unlocked car that Tabor College cheerleader and soccer player Melissa G. Salazar, 19, of Gary, Indiana, had parked in a lot in the 400 block of S. Lincoln St.

Drunken driving

Police who stopped at 2:05 a.m. Sunday to help a motorist who had pulled over, with engine running and flashers on, at Indigo at 180th Rds. reported smelling alcohol.

After a field sobriety test was conducted, Corbin Troyer, 25, Hutchinson, was arrested on suspicion of attempting to drive under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

Troyer was released from jail seven hours later after posting a $2,500 bond.
