Oklahoma man to face child sex charges here

Deputies went to Oklahoma last week to pick up a 22-year-old Oklahoma man charged with sexual exploitation of a child younger than 14 in Marion County.
Cecil W.R. Rodman of Hominy, Oklahoma, is being held in lieu of $100,000 bond. He formally was charged Dec. 5.
The charge is an off-grid felony. If convicted, Rodman could be sentenced to as much as life in prison.
After Marion County issued a warrant for him, Osage County, Oklahoma, deputies arrested him Dec. 7 and jailed him there to await extradition.
Deputies last fall went to Hominy to execute a search warrant.
According to a complaint filed in court, Rodman promoted sexually explicit behavior by the child May 12 and June 5.
Undersheriff Larry Starkey said Rodman’s offense was committed online, not in person.
