Ola Kottwitz

Ola Frances Kottwitz, formerly of Peabody, died Monday, January 11, 2010, at the St. Luke Living Center. She was 91 years old.

She was a retired nurse aid having worked at Bethel Deaconess Hospital in Newton and the Peabody Memorial Nursing Home.

She was preceded in death by her husband Herbert in 1997 and a brother Keith Kennard.

She is survived by two sons, Max of Hutchinson and David of Belvedere, Texas; four daughters, Lynne Watts of Marion, Gayle Scriven of Florence, Donna Larson of Missouri City, Texas, and Ann Schaechtel of Seattle, Wash.; and a sister, Lucille Klassen of Wichita.

There will be a memorial service at 11 a.m. Saturday, January 16, at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Peabody. Inurnmnet will follow at the Prairie Lawn Cemetery, Peabody.
