Marion Kiwanis Club has announced that the theme for this year’s Old Settler’s Day parade will be “Marion — 150 years of Progress — and Counting.”

The parade will be 11 a.m. Sept. 24, downtown Marion.

Old Settler’s Day is an annual event when Marion High School graduates return for class reunions.

Marion Kiwanis Club sponsors the event with a meal and games in Central Park following the parade.
