P.E.O. hears about mission trip to Cuba

Cheri Ochs Wheeler showed slides of a recent mission trip to Cuba at the Dec. 2 meeting of P.E.O. Chapter DB.

Wheeler and other Presbyterian Church members went to Cuba to explore a partnership with a presbytery there.

Hostesses for the meeting were Elora Robinson and Eileen Sieger. Twenty-nine members attended.

The chapter contributed to a memorial for former state P.E.O. president Liz Meyer.

Non-resident members were remembered with Christmas cards.

Members were served hors d’oeuvres Dec. 17 at a Christmas social at Eastmoor United Methodist Church. Tables were decorated with lanterns, candles, and Christmas greenery.

Hostesses for the social were Joni Crofoot, Louise Whiteman, Jona Neufeld, Susan Robson, and Judy Mills, assisted by president Diane Richmond.

The next meeting will be 7 p.m. Jan. 13 at the Presbyterian Church. Mary Beth Bowers will give a program on bread baking. Hostesses will be Deanna Thierolf and Mary Shockley.
