A Padgett family reunion was held in Florence on Sunday. The oldest in attendance was 87, and the youngest was 2.

They had a carry-in dinner at noon and spent time visiting, identifying old pictures, and getting reacquainted.

Family members in attendance were Earl “Cal” and June Padgett, Kansas City, Missouri; Wayne and Kay Ireland, Topeka; Rebecca and Jessica, Salina; Verda (Selvy) Stoskopf, El Dorado; Jerry and Edna (Padgett) Malmgren, Overland Park; Dennis and Vicki London, Wichita; Gaila Lynn Braun, Augusta; Bill, Jaime, Aiden, and Samara Kendall, North Newton; Bill and Kathy Kendall and Charles Kendall and friend, all of Hutchinson; and Betty (Padgett) Ireland and Joyce Padgett, Florence.
