Park pavilion fundraising close in on goal
Marion Advancement Campaign still needs $16,500 for a proposed entertainment pavilion and restrooms in Central Park.
MAC President Todd Heitschmidt said the organization wants to raise the remaining funds by Dec. 31.
If the goal of $100,000 is reached by then, construction can be completed by Chingawassa Days on the first weekend in June, Heitschmidt said.
Donations dated and mailed on or before Dec.31 are tax deductible in 2014. Consult your tax advisor for the deductibility of your contribution.
