Patricia J. “Pat” Davis Ray, 70, of Herington died Sept. 13 at her home.
She was born April 8, 1941, in Ramona, the daughter of Godfrey and Olga (Hoeppner) Schneider.
She was an assistant to Les Kitchenmaster, president of The Oiltizer Company in Lost Springs, for many years before she retired. She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church.
She graduated from Hope High School in 1959.
She married Melvin Davis on July 17, 1959. They later divorced. She married Charles Ray Sr. on April 6, 1991. They later divorced.
She was preceded in death by an infant son, Kelly Wayne Davis, and her parents.
She is survived by a daughter, Sheila Fitzgeralds of Inman; four sisters, Arlene Schwemmer of Moore, Okla., Evelyn Edmonson and Mary Ann Schlesener, both of Herington, and Joyce C. Hartier of Enterprise; one granddaughter; and one great-grandson.
A memorial service was Sept. 17 at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Herington, with Pastor Bill Peterson officiating. Her family received visitors before the service. Interment was at Lewis Cemetery, Ramona.
