Patrons sing ‘Tequila!’

Bettie Batt donated a freezer to the center, and the Knights of Columbus brought it in and took an old freezer away.

Keith Allison brought maracas and other instruments for audience participation. He played songs including “Tequila!”

Jean Pierce brought treats for her birthday Aug. 18, and Larry Blosser provided ice cream for his birthday Aug. 23.

Lucille Bittner, the center’s cook, make special eclipse cookies for the Great American Eclipse on Aug. 21. Patrons watched the eclipse on TV.

The center has a memorial donation box for Irene Richmond.

Tristen Cope gave a presentation, “Eating for the health of it,” Aug. 23.

Angel Care Home will present a program on falls Sept. 6.

The center will be closed Monday for Labor Day.
