Peabody board appoints coach
Four Peabody-Burns school board members were present Oct. 10 for the regular meeting.
Kody Tegtmeier was approved as head track coach for the 2018-19 season.
Parent Natasha Craig expressed concern about maintaining a policy concerning students with allergies. Administration confirmed this was being addressed.
USD 398 and City of Peabody renewed their agreement for district usage of the park for football games. It will be addressed again in 2028.
Superintendent Ron Traxson outlined the bus purchase plan over the next few years, starting with a reliable activities bus that will be rotated onto the Burns route in a couple of years.
Board members discussed continuing the hunter safety program during the school year as has been done in the past.
