Police report

Jan. 9: Officers took two reports of burglary and theft from a motor vehicle and a report of burglary and theft from a residence. All three cases are under investigation and some items have been recovered.

Jan. 10: A complaint was made about criminal use of a financial card. Officers assisted the Peabody Fire Department fight a car fire in the parking lot of Peabody-Burns Elementary School.

Jan. 13: Police completed a military records check. Police investigated a domestic battery incident. The case was closed with no charges pending.

Jan. 15: Officers assisted with a child custody case.
