Aug. 28 — Peabody officers performed two U. S. Military records checks.

Aug. 29 — Police assisted with an unattended death. Cause of death was determined to be natural causes.

Thursday — Police took an incident report of a breach of trust issue involving a vehicle. The vehicle has since been returned to the owner. Police opened an investigation into a case of forgery and it remains under investigation. They also opened an investigation on possible theft, but determined it to be a civil matter. An officer took in an abandoned bicycle.

Friday — Officers arrested a subject for public intoxication. The subject was taken to Marion County Jail.

Saturday — Officers arrested a suspect of a Marion County warrant.
