PEO plays Bunko at meeting
Sixteen members and one guest of Chapter DB, PEO, gathered April 1 for a game of Bunko at Marion Eastmoor Church. An array of snacks were served and prizes were awarded.
Joni Crofoot, Diane Richmond, Susan Robson, Jona Neufeld, Vicki Hoffer and Karen Williams, of the social committee were hosts.
The chapter’s regular meeting was April 15 at Marion Presbyterian Church. Three Marion High School forensics students, Samantha Kelsey, Hap Waddell, and Emmy Hess, delivered a program, “The Magic of Talent,” under the direction of Janet Killough.
President Diane Richmond called the meeting to order. A thank-you letter for the club’s donation to the “150 Fund” in honor of PEO’s 150-year anniversary was read. Plans for the upcoming Kansas State Chapter Convention were discussed. Three amendments to bylaws were read and approved. Emily Kannady will be a delegate to the convention with Diane Richmond as an alternate. The chapter’s responsibilities for the 2020 convention are being planned.
The next meeting will be 7 p.m. May 13 at Eastmoor Church with Eileen Seiger and Pam Byer hosting. The program will be the memorial service “The Magic of Remembrance.”
