LETTERS:   Pianist a blessing

I was so excited for someone of Joe Nichols’ character to headline (June 7 at Chingawassa Days). He interacted with so many in the community and was a real joy.

I also want you to realize that a person of incredible character was a part of Chingawassa Days on June 9. His name is Brian Arnold, and we were so blessed to have him with us. I have been here for 10 years, and this was by far the best community service we have had at Chingawassa.

Brian plays the piano as well as anyone, and he does it with only one hand. I really felt bad because so many missed this opportunity to see Brian, a former headliner from Silver Dollar City in Branson. He also brought with him the former lead singer of the group that played for more than 10 years in Echo Hollow.

All of us as ministers were overwhelmed with what we witnessed June 9. As a matter of fact, we were so impressed that we have decided to have him come back really soon, so mark your calendars for Nov. 24. Brian will be back, and you will be blessed.

Thank all of you for making our community service a vital part of Chingawassa Days. I am so thankful that the weekend did not end with a rainout but actually ended with showers of another kind. We received showers of blessings, and there are many more in store for us. God bless each of you.
