Hillsboro

Jan. 20 — A possible vehicle fire was investigated, which ended up being a radio shorting out.

Jan. 21 — A motorist received assistance after hitting a tire in the road on US-56. Officers met with a person about conceal carry concerns. A possible wandering child was reported, which ended up being a student walking home from school

Assistance was provided for a person who left a pair of keys in a business in the 1000 block of Industrial Rd.

Saturday — A motorist was warned for a headlight out near Main and Elm Sts.

Sunday — Officers met with a person about a trespassing dispute in the 700 block of S. Cedar St.
