Hillsboro
April 13 – A person reported being harassed by phone.
April 14 – Reportedly stolen property was found by police.
April 15 – An abandoned bicycle was found by police.
Thursday – A suspicious vehicle was reported in the 600 block of S. Lincoln St.
Saturday – Suspicious activity was reported at Memorial Park.
Marion
April 13 – Officers met with a door-to-door salesperson in the 500 block of S. Lincoln St. A trespassing complaint was reported in the 300 block of N. Roosevelt St.
April 14 – A civil issue about a dog was reported. A loose dog was reported in the 400 block of Locust St., but nothing was found.
April 15 – A civil standby was provided in the 200 block of S. Freeborn St. A person was warned about prohibited door-to-door sales in the 200 block of S. Freeborn St. A dog owner was contacted about two loose dogs in the 200 block of N. 4th St.
Thursday – A disabled vehicle on private property was reported. An individual received assistance after being locked out of his or her residence.
Friday – Two loose dogs were reported, but nothing was found. A noise complaint was reported in the 100 block of Forest St. A suspicious noise was reported in the 700 block of Hudson, but nothing was found.
Saturday – A person was warned about prohibited door-to-door sales in the 500 block of S. Lincoln St.
Sunday – Suspicious activity was reported in the 400 block of S. 4th St. A lost child was returned to his or her mother.
