July 20: Officers took parking and trespass complaints, took a report of an altercation between two juveniles, and issued a citation alleging driving in violation of restrictions.
July 21: Police responded to a residential alarm, a 911 disconnect, and a report of a disturbance that turned out to be a verbal argument. Officers also took a trespass complaint in which charges are pending.
July 22: Officers took a report of a stolen vehicle that was possibly in Hillsboro.
July 23: A woman told officers medication was stolen from her residence.
Thursday: Officers responded to a non-injury accident at Cedar and D Sts., and investigated a drive-off from Casey’s General Store. Charges are pending against two Hillsboro men who allegedly assaulted another Hillsboro man at his residence in the 400 block of W. B St.
Friday: Responding to a report of a disturbance, police discovered roommates quarreling and trying to evict each other.
Saturday: Officers took a report of a possible protection from abuse order violation, arrested Doyle Furrer, 34, of Lehigh on an outstanding warrant, and responded to a domestic disturbance. Police also assisted a person stranded in a wheelchair in the 400 block of W. B St.
PEABODY
July 22: Police issued a health and safety ordinance violation letter to Bert and Crystal Johnson of 207 S. Olive. A bicycle was reported stolen from a residence. Animal cruelty was investigated.
Saturday: An identity theft is under investigation.
Sunday: Items were reported stolen from a residence.
