Nov. 29 — A burglary was reported at Pizza Rehea’s in Burns. A total of $260 was taken and no arrest has been made.

Hillsboro

Nov. 25 — A domestic disturbance was reported in the 400 block of E. 1st St. The argument between mother and child was found to be verbal only.

Nov. 26 — A domestic disturbance was reported at 412 S. Marin St. in Hillsboro. Resident Ian Weisbeck, 41, was arrested for domestic battery for striking his roommate in the face, and hitting him with a footlocker. It was reported Weisbeck had also thrown a mailbox and furniture, as well as broken a TV and a window. An EMT treated Weisbeck for a cut on his hand, and the victim complained of minor wrist pain, but refused medical aid. A stray cow was reported at US-56 and Adams St., but officers were able to herd the animal to safety.

Nov. 27 — A dog complaint in the 1090 block of S. Cedar St. was investigated, and reports were made of suspicious activity in the 200 block of N. Washington St., and the 900 block of E. D St.

Nov. 28 — A report was made of an unattended child outside at 1st and Lincoln Sts., but the parents showed up quickly.

Nov. 29 — A speed complaint was made in the 400 block of E. 3rd St.

Nov. 30 — A report was made of a child custody dispute in the 800 block of E. A St.

Dec. 1 — A report was made of a possible drunk driver on Indigo St.

Marion

Nov. 26 — Officers responded to a non-injury accident at the intersection of Coble and Main Sts. A report was made of a possible theft in the 1100 block of E. Main St. The victim declined to press charges.

Nov. 27 — Two verbal warnings were issued for unreadable registration plates. Officers issued a citation for an expired driver’s license and a verbal warning for a headlamp out near Roosevelt and Nickerson Sts. A verbal warning was issued near Freeborn and Main Sts. for no turn signal, and a verbal warning was issued near Main and Locust Sts. for a headlamp out.

Nov. 28 — Officers issued a verbal warning for speeding in the 300 block of E. Main St., and issued a verbal warning in the 100 block of E. Main St. for a headlamp out.

Nov. 30 — Officers issued a verbal warning for lights when required near Lincoln and Main Sts.

Dec. 1 — Officers received a report of an alarm in the 300 block of S. 3rd St. An employee was contacted and advised it was an equipment alarm. A verbal warning was issued for speeding near 4th and Main Sts., and issued a verbal warning for speeding near 5th and Main Sts. Officers took a report of a non-injury accident in the 1000 block of E. Main St.
