Thursday: A background check was performed on a door-to-door salesman, there was a noise complaint in the 100 block of N. Cedar, and officers investigated a domestic situation between a mother and son.
Friday: A motorist was stopped for an equipment violation.
Saturday: Police investigated a suspicious liquid and responded to a domestic disturbance in the 400 block of N. Ash St.
Sunday: Two motorists were stopped for speeding and officers checked on a disabled vehicle in the 400 block of N. Ash St.
PEABODY POLICE
Feb. 4: Police took a report of theft and criminal use of a financial card. The case is under investigation and a suspect has been identified.
Thursday: Officers opened an investigation into a complaint of burglary and theft at 206 S. Olive St. Kyle Fistler, Peabody, was arrested on a Marion County arrest warrant for failure to appear.
Friday: Police completed a United States government record check for employment. Officers took an information report of a domestic/civil issue of a child not wanting to go with a parent for scheduled visitation.
