Jan. 30 — A welfare check in the 400 block of S. Adams St. was performed. Marion police were assisted with an investigation. A report of an domestic situation in the 400 block of N. Ash St. was investigated and determined to be unfounded.

Jan. 31 — A report of vandalism and a suspicious vehicle at 180th and Indigo Rds. were investigated.

Feb. 1 — A phone scam complaint, fire in an unapproved fire pit, and gas spill at Casey’s General Store were investigated. A citation for an unlicensed driver was issued.

Thursday — A complaint of a semi parked on city streets, reckless driver complaint, and resident locked out of their apartment were investigated. A non-injury accident report that involved a raccoon strike was completed.

Friday — A burglary/theft at Tabor College and alarm at Pizza Hut were investigated.

Saturday — A missing Social Security card was recovered and a complaint of disorderly conduct was investigated.

Sunday — Drug evidence from an old case was destroyed and citations for violations of driver’s license restrictions were issued.

Jan. 30 — A welfare check in the 300 block of N. Roosevelt St. was performed.

Jan. 31 — Two warnings for no tag light were issued.

Feb. 1 — A warning for no brake lights near Hudson and Roosevelt Sts. was issued.

Thursday — A report of a possible disturbance in the 600 block of S. Roosevelt St. was investigated.

Friday — A report of a possible scam was investigated. Two arrest warrants were served. A report of a sick animal in the 200 block of Locust St. was investigated.

Saturday — Six warnings for various traffic infractions and one citation for no tail lamps were issued.

Sunday — A dog dragging a chain in the 600 block of S. Cedar St. was discovered; the owner retrieved the dog. A speeding warning in the 100 block of S. Lincoln St. was issued. A citation for failure to wear a seatbelt was issued.

Jan. 27 — An accidental discharge of a firearm was investigated at 501 Elm St.

Jan. 31 — A complaint of domestic battery in the 700 block of Vine St. was referred to the city prosecutor. An unattended death in the 200 block of N. Locust St. was investigated. After assisting Peabody EMS on an ambulance call, Peabody Police filed a complaint of alleged abuse with the Department of Children and Families.
