April 30 — A domestic disturbance in the 100 block of S. Date St. was investigated.

May 1 — Parking complaints in the industrial park and the 500 block of S. Washington St. were investigated. A gas skip in the 300 block of N. Ash St. was investigated.

May 2 — A report of a suspicious person in the 200 block of N. Main St. and a traffic complaint in the 400 block of N. Ash St. were investigated. Sheriff’s deputies were assisted with an arrest warrant and Marion police were assisted with an investigation.

May 3 — A search warrant in the 700 block of S. Washington St. was executed and five people were arrested on various drug charges. A report of a suspicious vehicle in the 100 block of S. Washington St. was investigated.

Thursday — A municipal arrest warrant was served. A report of suspicious activity in Hillsboro Heights was investigated.

Friday —A report of a disturbance that involved a person who went onto another’s property and made allegation at 3rd and Lincoln Sts. was investigated. A residential lockout in the 400 block of N. Ash St. was investigated. A report of suspicious activity in the 200 block of N. Main St. was investigated.

Saturday — A domestic disturbance in the 500 block of E. A St. was investigated; one person agreed to leave the residence. A dog running free in the 200 block of W. Grand St. and a report of debris on US-56 were investigated.

Marion

May 1 — A citation for neon under-glow lights on a vehicle was issued. During normal school zone patrol, warnings for speeding and parking where prohibited in school zones were issued. A report of a suspicious person in the 600 block of E. Main St. was investigated; officers were unable to locate anyone who fit the description. A disturbance in the 400 block of N. Freeborn St. was investigated. A stranded motorist was checked on in the 1000 block of Industrial St.

May 2 — A dog running free in the 1400 block of Denver St. was captured and its owner was contacted.

May 3 — A report of a possible scam was taken but no report was filled out. A trespass warning was issued to several people on the train tracks south of Grant St. A commercial alarm in the 1100 block of E. Main St. was investigated.

Thursday — Non-injury accidents in the 100 block of S. Lincoln St. and a parking lot in the 200 block of W. Main St. were investigated. Officers checked for inoperable streetlights. Warnings for speeding, no tag light, and no turn signal were issued.

Friday — Officers helped a stranded motorist change a flat tire. Two warnings for traffic infractions were issued.

Saturday — Directions were provided to a lost motorist. Warnings for no tag light and speeding were issued.

May 1 — A missing person report on an adult was filed; that person has since been located and is OK, Chief Bruce Burke said.

May 2 — A case of interference with a firefighter was opened; no further information was available as the case is under investigation. A report of burglary, theft, and criminal damage to property at 700 block of N. Olive St. was investigated; the case is still under investigation.

May 3 — A health and safety investigation was opened pertaining to a derelict privacy fence, trash, and miscellaneous items that Burke said need to be picked up in the 400 block of Vine St. Officers assisted Hillsboro Police with a search warrant that lead to the arrest of five people on various drug charges.

Thursday — A no trespassing complaint at 100 block of S. Olive St. was investigated.

Friday — Molly Stahlheber, no age specified, Peabody, was arrested on a Marion County Sheriff’s warrant.

Saturday — A report of juveniles fighting in the 800 block of N. Walnut St. was investigated.

Sunday — A report of a domestic disturbance in the 200 block of N. Pine St. was investigated; no arrests were made.
