To the editor:

I paid for a subscription to this local paper specifically for the letters to the editor only to find that you no longer print letters on politics. So, this is just me and my opinion. OK, fine.

My opinion on the story of Mrs. Alvaraz being detained by ICE after following the law to get her green card is that it stinks!

According to our president, they are getting rid of terrorists, rapists, criminals, etc. I saw nothing in the article stating she was any of these things. So, Trump has continued to lie about that as well as everything else.

We need to resist, protest, and never give up. I write one senator nearly every week. The other one is an idiot, so I don’t waste my time. I know it’s Kansas, but miracles do happen.
