Preparations underway for annual meeting

The annual meeting of Senior Citizens of Marion County is tomorrow at the center. This is by reservation only and the one time all year when one cannot just drop in to eat.

Birthday wishes were sung Oct. 6 to volunteer Connie Fisher and meal deliverer Bob Crawford.

The county health office staff provided flu shots Oct. 10.

Hope Manchester, court appointed special advocate case supervisor, gave the program on Oct. 11.

The center received a call from the TV station that carries Hatteberg’s People, following up on a program they did on Lenora Graham, a longtime meal deliverer from Florence.

Donna Kreutziger will give a program Oct. 25 on her trip to Alaska.

The center will celebrate National Ford Day on Oct. 26.
